How to join Indian Army and Indian Navy

To join the Armed forces, candidates have to appear for written exams followed by SSB and Medical test.
Eligibility to Join Indian Army
You can join the Indian army as an officer or Junior Commissioned Officer or, as an Other Rank depending on your qualification and aptitude. Types of Commission
Indian army offers the candidate to join as an officer under these two types of commissions.
Permanent Commission let you serve in army till you retire. To induct in Permanent Commission, candidates have to join National Defence Academy, Pune or Indian Military Academy Dehradun or OTA Gaya.
Short Service Commission means you can serve the Indian army for 10/14 years. After the end of 10 years you have 3 options. Either elect for a Permanent Commission or opt for 4 years extension. You can resign at any time during this period of 4 hours.
Women can also join Indian Army under Short Service Commission.

Another way to live a life less ordinary is by Joining Indian Navy. You can join Indian Navy as an Officer, as Sailor or as Naval Civilian. You can apply online from its official Website https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in/en.
